Play The Dog House Slots Free: Demo Guide

Every Dog House game has a free demo with virtual credits and every feature unlocked, including the bonus buys. This is how we tested all nine for this site, and how you can try them before you spend a cent.

Where to find the demos

Pragmatic Play's website

The studio's own site has a page for each game with a playable demo. Search its game library for "Dog House" and you'll find eight of the nine; Dice Show isn't listed there. The site asks you to confirm you're 18 or over first.

Casino fun modes

Many casinos let you open a game in a free mode, often with a Fun Play or Demo switch on the game page. Casinos aren't available in every country, so check yours first.

What the demo gives you

  • A balance of 100,000 in virtual credits, which resets when you reload.
  • The real game, with the same rules, RTP, paytable and features.
  • Every bonus buy, ante bet and super spin, paid with virtual credits.
  • The full rules behind the i button.
The Dog House demo: Rottweilers and Shih Tzus on reels 2 and 4, a Bonus paw between two dog house wilds on reel 3, card symbols on reels 1 and 5, a credit of $100,000.00 and a bet of $2.00.
The demo starts with $100,000 of virtual credits.

Step by step

How to test a Dog House game in the demo

  1. Read the rules first

Tap the i button and page through the rules. Note the RTP, volatility and max win: they're the same in the real game.

  2. Set a realistic bet

Use the bet you'd really play with. A $100 demo bet tells you nothing about a $1 session.

  3. Spin a few hundred times

Autoplay with turbo spin helps. In our tests, natural free spins took about 255 to 290 spins to arrive.

  4. Try the buy

If the game has one, buy a few rounds with demo credits and see how often they pay back their price.

  5. Check your balance

Compare where you ended with 100,000. That's the honest story of your session.

  6. Then decide

If you enjoyed it and know the risks, play for real with a fixed budget. If not, try another game in the series.

The demos on your phone

All nine games run in a mobile browser and switch to a portrait layout, with the reels in the middle and the controls below. These are our screenshots from a 375-pixel-wide phone screen:

  • The Dog House intro screen on a phone, with Wild multipliers on reels 2, 3 and 4 above the kennel.

  • Dog or Alive on a phone, with the sheriff Rottweiler above the reels.

There's no app to install for any of them. Turbo spin works by holding the spin button.

Know the difference

Demo vs real money

The game itself is the same. Three things are not:

  • The RTP version. The demo may run a different RTP from your casino. Check the rules in both.
  • The feeling. Losing 5,000 demo credits on a 2,500x buy is funny; losing $500 isn't. Play the demo at the stake you'd really use.
  • The balance. Demo credits refill when you reload. Real money doesn't.
